This will open a window that looks something like this:
Step two: The menu will include one of these options "Save as", "Save link As" or "Save Target As". Click that option.
Step three: A download screen will appear asking if you want to save the file to your computer. Click YES or OK to start the download. The file can be saved anywhere you choose, but to find it easily later you might use your desktop area for now.
